The WJPF is constituted on October 7th.

The World Jigsaw Puzzle Federation was created on October 7th in Spain, in order to provide an international network to organise world championships and other international activities related to jigsaw puzzles.

The main figures in the WJPF are Jesus Casellas, Chairman and Agurtzane Rementería, General Secretary.

The goals of WJPF are to provide means for an international exchange of ideas on jigsaw puzzles, to stimulate innovations in the field of jigsaw puzzles, to supervise future World Jigsaw Puzzle Championships and other activities, and to foster friendship among jigsaw puzzle enthusiasts all over the world.
